This one was built from three ingredients that no longer exist in the forms used here. A 10-year Burmese oud from forests that are disappearing. A rose attar aged over 40 years — older than most perfumers working today. And an amber so deeply aged it has transcended its own origin — rich, dark, and impossibly smooth, the kind of material that takes decades to become what it is.

It opens sweet and warm — the amber leading, rich and inviting, with a subtle animalic whisper beneath the sweetness that never tips into aggression. Just presence. The kind of depth that makes you lean in rather than step back.

Then the rose arrives. Bright, unexpected, luminous — it parts the darkness briefly like light through a cracked door, adding a dimension of life and beauty to the resinous foundation. It does not stay long. It was never meant to. The rose dances in the middle for a moment, then drifts away, leaving behind only a trace of its brightness folded into what comes next.

The dry down is pure Burmese oud and ancient amber — dark, sweet, resinous, and deeply complex. The kind of finish that rewards patience. The kind of finish you are still discovering hours later.
